Pictures and my friend Shellie

My friend Shellie is so nice to me. She has been very supportive in my efforts to do more photography work. She has given me several ideas for business opportunities and has contacted people in her various activities to let them know what I'm doing.

Yesterday we met with her family to take family photo's so that I can add to my portfolio.
she was on time and ready to be photographed! We ended up using the same location as last year although at first we were talking about moving the session to give the pictures a more distinct look compared to last years.
But this park is just so perfect that we used again.

It's a hard to get two kids and a dog to all look at you at the same time, especially since the kids like to cock their heads to one side just as you press the shutter button. I equate it to painting with color- it requires you to kind of unfocus your eyes and just see the elements that go into the picture. It can also give you a headache.

After the photo session Jason, Simon and Shellie wanted to go see the Revenge of the Sith, which I just haven't mustered up the urge to see and didn't really want to last night either. So I suggested that the three of them go see it and I would babysit.
It must have taken Simon all of .2 seconds to decide that, that worked for him!
I have decided that instead of presents of more stuff parents seem to appreciate few babysitting a lot more.
