Jason and I were driving to get my car today and had the following conversation.
Jason: “Sometimes I like to drive 10 miles under the speed limit when I’m in front of a police car.”
Terra: “You can get a ticket fro obstructing traffic.”
Jason: “No, you have 10 miles leeway over and under the sped limit.”
Terra: “No, you don’t.”
Jason: “Who has ever gotten a ticket for that!”
Terra: “You.”
Jason: “Oh, Yeah.”

Do not cloud the issue with facts. One fact and one fact alone stand crystal clear...

Mary Poppins?
Yeah that was embarrasing!!!
leeway? what the heck? yeah, you probably won't get a ticket for 5-10 over, but you COULD. personally, i set my cruise control on 7-10 over to avoid getting a ticket. in winston-salem, the police could care less if you speed. i used to pass them all the time in high school on the freeway.
42 out of 50 states have a law in place that does not allow an officer to pull someone over just for going up to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit.
Jason once got a ticket for going 4 miles above the posted speed limit.
