pedro, are you aware that thousands of people are walking around wearing shirts in the US that say "Vote For Pedro" on them?

yes. i wouldn't call it a threat, but when perfectly adorable pictures of isabella still didn't attract many comments, i decided it was a waste of my time. i think you and dad were the only ones to read it with any regularity and i talk to you guys all the time.

well, poop.

If you want comments you should say outragous stuff all the time. I think plenty of people were reading it. I liked it.

Thanks, Dave. I know you read it quite a bit too and I appreciate it. When I started it I did it mostly for matt and mary ann and i think they're too busy now to bother with it much. i did want comments, but comments on my life not about something crazy and outrageous. I may consider starting a new one later. I didn't really like the name either...

I used to visit your blog occasionally- but I got the impression you didn't want folks outside your immediate family there, much less to comment. :) I really enjoyed your art, and I am a big fan of the ‘Perkins’ wit, and its various forms and nuances.

I started a blog, ok , 2 or 3 actually, but it does take a lot of commitment to maintain it, and I had more fun reading what other people write, so I let mine go too.

Hope things are going well with school; I am impressed with your course load, and your courage to take on so much. I admire you for taking your talent and training it into a useful skill, and for doing with your life what so many-including me- only think about doing, but never quite get around to.

It wasn't that I didn't want non-family members commenting, I just didn't want anybody coming on my site to insult me. The unfortunate situation with the Canadian/Lebanese Jasmine really brought the mood of my blog down early on. Thank you for the kind words though, Shellie. Things have been difficult to handle lately and it's nice to know that some people recognize the work I put into things.
