last night

Last night was Jason and Marshall's Knighting Ceremony.

It was....interesting.

I believe it was as others feel about Mormon stuff.
"Odd".

It was held at "Sir" Karl's house. He has a wooded area with several fire pits and paths to said pits.
It was a pot luck event so I made Green bean Cassarole at Jasons request (he knows how much I like it).

Jason annoyed me by calling when we were about 10 minutes to location asking where we were (no we weren't late) since I was busy squeezing my eyes shut so that I couldn't see the last few moments of my life as Jim (jessica's husband) weaved in and out of traffic I didn't think it was too cute particularly when Lori (marshalls wife) called three minutes later asking the same thing (she was already there).

The big suprise was find when I got there that Joe (yep brother in law joe) had driven down from Raleigh to attend. Becca had stayed home with Adrian since it's common knowledge the Perkins children don't travel all that well.
But it was nice to see him and we had nice conversations while we were there.

I thought Jason's sponsering knight gave a lovely introduction for Jason explaining why he had chosen Jason for his squire and the ways he felt Jason had grown and improved as a person (I personaly think that he did a much better job than Marshalls knight- not to mention he projected better so people could hear him). Jason was obviously very happy and proud of his accompishment and was dissapointed that I wasn't able to tape record the vent due to lack of light.
