This past Saturday Jason and I went downtown and tried out the local wall climbing facility The Rock Warehouse. I haven't been climbing in years really, so I was kind of nervous that I would suck bolts. One of the things about climbing is it's a lot of planning and it's also a lot easier to climb if your grasping muscles are even slight developed.
I started out by picking a route that was ranked a level that I USED to be able to do (5.10) but it turns out I might need to practice up a bit. I did end the day on a 5.8 that turned out to not be as hard as I thought it was going to be. Jason hadn't thought I could do it and so I had to prove him wrong.
Which I did.
We both enjoyed it so much we will be going back.
